    AF-450_SC350-01

New DV, charge roller, reset PM counter, reset charge roller to spec.
My used generic drum works great, the brand new OEM drum does not.
    PN#A230-9510

I have tried different drum units, same symptom. Generic used works and new OEM doesn't (ID sensor values default to 0.0_0.0_0.0)
Tried to run 2-805 and comes up error every time.
Am I missing a reset somewhere?

You could have a defective drum...I've rarely seen one but it can happen.

I am assuming that you used the new screw that comes with the new drum to hold the bearing on the end. I had an issue with this once...don't remember the code.

Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.

I think I used the screw off of another OEM drum. I'll check and see. Drum looks fine, makes a great copy/print before it codes out. Could still be bad I suppose. Thanks for the response.

I've had Savin Phone Support actually tell me that non OEM drums can ruin the ID sensor. I find this hard to believe, but whatever lol. Thought I'd give you a laugh.
