Ok if you upgrade already system/copy,engine etc.if still the same problem.Do this execute auto color calibration and color registration in the maintainance. But you must clean the optical section. If you dont mind I want to ask how many copies the machine produce now.

remove the shutter from the top f the laser unti. If color comes back... ther's your fix. I've removed one of the shoulder screws from these shutters to fix a couple. However, I noticed the newer version doesn't have a shutter. Is it worth removing the shutters on these? Thoughts?

Perform manual toner supply Sp3-015-4(M)/5(C). If you'll see improvement probably you don't have toner supply system problem. What about ID sensors, did you check them ? Try another transfer unit (if you have). You can do SP5-801-1 "all memory clear" to set all to default.
If you need service manual, just send me PM.

        Don't give up.

Take another look at the LOWER polygon mirror (see attached) and clean it carefully.

The upper mirror scans Black and Yellow, the lower scans Cyan and Magenta (The actual description in the manual is wrong! See the diagram)

As far as I can see this is the only thing which is common to the two colours you are having trouble with.

I thought about that, but the copies wouldn't get better with a developer change unless it's just bad enough to interfere with ProCon. HV supply? Don't see why it would be 2 colors unless it was zapped, or maybe a bad connection

I have a Ricoh MP C2500,when i make a copy or print they make clear copies,or to colors that in black and white,I change PCU(for any color) and PCU(Black), and any developer!!! But after some hundred of copies the same problem it reappears.

Someone can i help me? thanks a lot!
I need to ask some questions to help confirm the problem.

Can you confirm the problem occurs on copies AND prints?

When you say "... But after some hundred copies the same problem appears"...

Does the machine produce good copies for the first hundred copies of a new developer? ......

........Or the first copies of very run, even using older developer?

Is the fade uneven from the front to back of the machine?

Can we see samples? SP2109 -19 (Please mark the lead edge of the paper and front of the machine)

Do you have a copy of the SMC (non default) data? SP5990 - 6
