i recently changed the yellow developmet unit because it was well passed its life span. since then iv been getting this code like nearly everyweek. the unit that i changed was brand new could it be possible that it may be faulty?

is there somthing that i need to check? or am i just better off just replaceing the unit again?

Did you re-set the PM counter to initialise the unit when you installed it?
Also, do the gears in the back of the dev unit turn? If not, it may be a faulty one. They don't cost that much so just dump it and get another one if the gears are locked.

yes i did reset the pm counter to initialize the unit.
