    SR5000 jamming

    I have a SR5000 attached to a MP9000 jamming when stapling.

It jams when the stapled stack is pushed out.

When the stack gets pushed out the pawl on the stack feed out belt seems to shove the stack into the exit area causing the stack to buckle and twist. The problem is more evident on a stack with a couple pages than a thicker one.

This customer is very abusive so I suspect something being bent but I can't tell what yet.

Anyone experience something like this ?

    Any codes??

Is the job curling inside the machine (Damp paper curl?) or jamming as it passes through the exit rollers?

Is the upper exit roller plate lifting as the job is ejected? (It Should!)

Is the shift tray moving down then up as the job exits?

If not can be the shift tray lift motor.

I just needed to look at it from a different angle. I had been watching from sitting on the floor. Today I pulled out the staple tray and looked down from the top. They managed to twist the rear jogger so they were closer together at the top. Then when it tried to feed the stack out it would hit the joggers at the top.

I knew it would be something bent the people at this place are like wild animals.
