Ricoh 2020 vs 2022

I have a customer that wants to replace a 2020 with print fax scan (lease ended).

I have a 2022 with print fax scan that I can "upgrade" them to.

Will the existing drivers work and just input the ip address, or will it need a complete new set up?

The driver are not the same for both model.

Yes it will probably work. Try it.

The drivers, are not the same, but it should work.
Even RPCS than PCL should have same commands.

Worth a try.

UPDATE
I did a printout from the 2020 and input the ip address and all the same settings I could see.

Hooked it up and it prints fine on the network but the scan just keeps saying "Updating Delivery Server...."

any idea what might be missing?

Someone turned on the "delivery option" in Scanner Settings. Then machine is looking for Scan Router to tell it where to send the scans

yes they had the 2020 set up to scan to folder on the desktop I believe using scanrouter.
and they want the 2022 to just do the same.

Delete the I/O device in ScanRouter and readd it.

For the case it's not a scan router solution (I think both A2020 and A2022 are able to perform native scan-to-smb without the need of any server tools):

Dunno how much scan-to-folder destinations where stored in the adress book of the A2020 but usually it's helpful to use the "smart device monitor for admin" to import all data and export it on another machine.

As far as I know the AF 2020 can only scan to email. Thats one of the major difference between the 2 models...
