I have the customer set up their own account, and then we plug in those credentials.

It requires authentication, but no SSL - just plain ol' port 25.

So far, so perfect!

just like setting scan to email on any thing. Get their pop/SMTP Settings.

Make sure that the user name is "user@gmx.com", and not just "user".

It took me a few minutes to figure that one out the first time.
