    Hi,
You have Pro version System firmware (D101) and Non Pro Engine Firmware (B234)
You can either, borrow the System card (slot 1) from a machine that still has B234 System, and then upgrade the Engine Firmware. Swap the cards back and the machine will boot.
    or
You can borrow a BCU from a Pro 906, the machine will then boot ok, downgrade the System firmware to B234 level and swap the BCU back. You can then either leave it alone or upgrade Engine 1st then System to Pro levels. )

    Any ideas?

    Dear All,

    I am facing a problem with MP1350 & MP9000.

Our Engineer went to upgrade the firmware of the MP1350 machine. Mistakenly he upgrade the system firmware first, then he switched OFF & ON - M/C stop booting and started displaying 'please wait'.

We had a MP9000 - we change the BCU of MP9000 into MP1350 - MP1350 started working fine.
We ordered a BCU for MP9000 (Both the part numbers are same for MP1350 & MP9000).
Once we got the BCU - we installed into MP9000 & machine was not booting still shows 'Please wait'.
We have changed the HDD / SD card - still problem remain same on MP9000.

Just for confirmation - we inter change the whole controller unit of MP9000 into MP1350 - Working fine.
We inter changed the IO board of MP9000 into MP1350 - working fine.

    Really, it drives me mad…

I am looking for all of your advice to solve the machine problem.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Raja.

Likely there is still a piece of paper covering the CIS for the duplex unit. If you pull out the duplexer the CIS will be where the paper re enters the paper path under the sync roller in the B2 area.

Turn off the CIS sensors in User Tools - Adjustments For Operators - SP mode 1, turn them off for every tray and double feed detect while your there.
They're more trouble than their worth.

I'm working on a Ricoh Aficio MP1350. Front to back registration was pretty good until customer pulled a jam out of the machine. As soon as the jam was pulled and the job continued the front side still looked good but the back side image was shifted nearly an inch toward the front of the machine...I've been banging my head against the wall to figure out what may have caused this but to no avail.
