Up to now these models are giving us problem with SC 819/870. We already changed 9 controller boards(customer machines). Most of our customers are complaining because of these error codes. Every installations we inform and educate our customers on how to properly shutdown the machine and even put stickers on the machine to remind them on the proper shutdown procedure (RTB:RD009036). Performed firmware updates but the same.
Ricoh is passing the problem to their distributors while it is very obvious that these machines are sh..ts and already defective from the factory. We can't blame the customers and tell them that they have to follow the rules if not they will suffer the consequences.
We hope that Ricoh will give us a better solution and explainations about this problem.. Anybody from TSRC or Ricoh here to help us.. thnx..
