I have 2 at this account where they send all print jobs to stored print. The Document Server was "confusing" and had an extra step so they print everything to stored print with a user ID and password. According to the op manual it can store 3000 jobs but these just lost any job after 100.
I found a fix but it wasn't an exact science locking the value in. In service program for the printer, go to bit switches 5 and bit 4 needs set to 1. Neither one took the setting right off, the one I went into copier program SP5185(?) and changed the HDD management from standard to extended. And then back to standard and then I was able to go back into the printer program and set bit to 4 and hit enter(#). The other one would not hold the setting no matter how many times I switched that back and forth. What finally locked it in was "executing" a print summary report just a few lines down.
Just thought I'd pass this info along. Anyone else had any trouble locking values in service modes?
