Please need info about stapling on - MP5000 / SP8200

My customer has a SP8200 with Finisher.

He wants to have machine stopped when staples run out during a long Print JOB. (launch a 3.000 pages print with staples on 2 pages, so staples end too often).

We didn't find anything on User Manual or Tech manuals.

Any clue?

I had one that would not stop when the hole punch waste filled up and the job would just finish, leaving half punched the other half not punched.
Turning "OFF" the auto-continue feature fixed it. User toools-> Printer Features-> System-> Auto continue set to "OFF".
I'm not sure if that works for stapling but its worth a try. Other than that, unless there's a firmware update to fix it I think Ricoh considers that normal.
