Gestetner MP-4000B

Hi there

Can i used Drum of Ricoh MP-4500 or 450 or 1035 into Gestetner MP-4000B? I have seen both drums Drum of both machines are same but Gestetner has some difference in Gear.Can anybody suggest me if i can install that of Ricoh 1035 into Gestetner MP-4000B or i need to do some amendments????

The A2309510 drum will not work in the MP 4000. The D0099510 drum for the MP 4000 will work in the older units, but the lower PCU cover must be slightly altered to do it. The gear end of the newer drum is slightly longer and there is no way to make up the difference.
