hi guys
i've got a strange one for you,i have fitted a fax, on too a mp2000(which is working spot on with out it) with the one tray bin option and it jams every one and a half copies when i select the one tray bin, the strange thing is that the fax came off a x disply m/c in our show room. Which was working fine,so i brought the tray back and fitted it back too the show room m/c and it works fine
i have look at the install guide and i can not see any settings too change
any ideas ????

Wow your question itself sounds strange you installed the fax and Tray 1 started jamming?! what a coincidence NO, NO, NO. I don't think there is a link btw your Fax-option and a tray. Most likely there is a mismatch in some settings on your machine. Check all settings for trays. If for example you have manually "forced" Tray 1 to Legal and put in A4 it is NOT going to work and so on. Check it out first.

thanks for the reply, but it is not the paper feed tray one, its the optional second exit tray that is jamming

If you want to get an answer PLEASE don't forget to give us exact model and also would be great to know what options do you have installed. Thanks
