Who are the "Others" in codes?

Our Ricoh folks don't even seem to agree on the answer. We've been trying to figure out what goes into the "others" line... we know when we print our count sheets they go there, and scans seem to, but at some times we are charged more than 800 copies to the "others" code and we just don't do that many scans, faxes, or anything like that.

    Any ideas?

Those are generally outputs that are not assigned a user code, usually Document Server prints and fax prints. I had a University library that was charging students with a coin op device and they were complaining they were losing money. Whoever set up the mfp originally didn't lock down the doc server, the kids figured out that they could scan their originals into the doc server and print them right back out without being charged. Someone could be doing the same thing in your situation to avoid using a user code. Another method is someone may have the knowledge to go into user tools and turn off user code temporarily until they're done with their job. Make sure you lock out the user tools with an admin code and either disable the doc server if you don't use it or change it to require a user code.
