Hello, I have these black bands running through the entire page on outside edge ( lead to trail edge) with no void areas . I can see the image on the transfer belt, I had replaced the cleaning blade assembly with the same effect, I checked and cleaned everything that is near the belt and inspected the imaging unit and cannot see any streaks is there any problems with the belt assembly or is there a way I can adjust the the blade to make better contact. I also tried to make copies of single colors to eliminate imaging units but could not find a way to do that and I made internal prints to illiminate optics. Thanks

I guess you mean the MPC2500 not the mp2500. If you want to do mono colour sky shots to eliminate each PCDU, you can set sp5 618 to "1". This changes the display to allow selecting single colour mode. Not much info but it should help troulbeshoot. Maybe you could scan an image and post it up so we can have a look.I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. ~Thomas Edison -
dude, its the drum. if it was the ITB cleaning unit you would see a mixing of all colors. if the streaks are black only, its not a color drum problem so no need to try to isolate. the drum problems (streaks) are a well known and well documented problem with these machines.Don't take that toner with me!Comment

Use SP2-109 Tset pattern printing.
In the sp mode, select pattern type and scroll to Chequer pattern.
Select "colour" (I think the default will be 1) select "2".
Select "Copy Screen" and "full colour".
Select paper tray and press print.
Repeat this for colours "3" and "4" (In full colour) then "1" in black and white mode.
This will give you chequer test patterns in all four colours.
Make sure you change the colour to "1" and pattern to "None" when finished.Comment
