    AF3260c yellow overtone

    Hi guys

I have a AF3260C that is overtoning in yellow for some reason. The yellow pcu unit is then full of scattered toner and all prints will have to much yellow in it. I disconnect the clutches in toner hopper and then ran SP3 820 2 (Exe Density Adj) The machine will undertone it self back to where the copy looks perfect. So the machine knows that there is too much toner into dev unit. As soon as i connect the clutches again the machine will overtone again. I swapped clutches and the toner end sensor in the hopper with the cyan's still does the same.

    Any ideas

what is your Vt and Vtref values for yellow when overtoned, and running normal. It sounds like your TDC for yellow is crapped out.

Usually the toner supply clutch does this, but you say you have swapped them?

Pretty sure that will cure it, I have had to change them all on one machine over a perio of time

X2, I've always resolved it by replacing the whole toner supply for the particular color.
