I have a 2085 that has skew print only when using trays 4,5 and 6 from the LCT. This happens in print mode and copy mode. Trays 1, 2 and 3 do not have any skew. Today I did a complete rebuild of the LCT and replaced all of the transports rollers, pinch rollers associated bushings, all tray feed rollers, even the transport guide plates (the ones you open when clearing jams for trays 4, 5 and 6), increased LCT buckle to the max (+9). After all of that, still skew. I was able to minimize the skew by leaving the buckle at +9 and shimming the rear LCT docking bolts by 4mm. Now the skew is not too noticeable(accept on the pre-printed forms with perforations) but it is still there. My next plan is to replace the LCT relay clutch and associated feed shaft/pinch roll (in the registration unit on the engine). Other than what I have already done, does anyone have any tips ? I really don't like the fact I had to shim the rear LCT by 4mm.
