Well, my business is selling manuals and he may think he'll save money, but more than likely he'll foul it up even more and it will cost him more in the long run.
I am a printer tech and when I first got into this business I figured I would learn a lot about copiers, well all I can say is that copiers and printers are 2 different animals, while the theory is the same, the mechanics are completely different and I would not attempt to do a copier repair whereas I wouldn't hesitate to work on a printer that I've never seen.
