[Error Code] Ricoh mp 1100 firmware update.

We tried to update the firmware on our ricoh mp1100. One machine went well and is fully updated. The other ricoh mp1100 keeps loading inserter. when we turn of the machine he says, put in the right card. When i put the card back in he still keeps saying loading inserter. Is there a way to reset the machine so we can start over?

Try to update only system and engine. "only System and Engine firmware in the romdata folder" after the machine booting from the card, highlight both firmwares and update be carefull I said both simultaneously.

Hi,
Take the SD card out, power up the machine and you'll get either an E32 or E44 code displayed in the bottom left hand corner. Clear this code using Yellow button, 1 4 3 and then 3 times on the blue C button. If the machine's beeper is turned on, you'll bet 3 beeps otherwise nothing. Switch off and back on and the machine should boot OK.

You should then be able to re-try the Inserter firmware and all be well. Occasionally the Inserter main board gets damaged.
