You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.... and
if this was an easy thing to do then everybody would be doing it! But it isn't and they are not!!

The lower frame has a mylar that is supposed to catch that toner, is it bent or missing?

the mylar is new and we are leaning towards the toner density sensor causing over toning...what do you think

You also might want to do continuity check between drum shaft and frame. the drum ground in that frame are really flakey

thanks for the idea...is a bad ground on that model quite common? If you find its not good what do you do to correct it...ie some type of mod

At one point they changed the rear drum bearing on the frame because it was losing connectivity between the inner and outer races. Later they added a ground strap over the bearing as a mod,

I have had this problem with 2035. I think its related when using generic toner - this machine can also have the toner becomes completely repleted.

I checked everything else but the problem kept on coming back. I had concluded that the toner was bad and needed replacing - however, cleaning of those toner blotches on the drum and transfer belt removed the mess and in the end stopped coming. Try with toner replacement even though I did not do that - its my hunch that the problem might be eradicated as the machine gains mileage.
