MP5000 and Macs

Picked up a new client with a hand-me-down mp5000 which is in good shape.

They however have Macs. I know most of the time I would need a PS3 card for the machine. I was just wondering if this is still the case for this machine since they are just printing black and white.

PS I'm definitely not into using CUPS or Ghost Print or whatever. I just want to do the right thing. (So as not to get additional support calls)

Unfortunately the PS3-Unit is still needed to print Postscript.
