Net bios name already in use.

Hi!

I got a MPC4500 and its keep on getting this Net-Bios Name already in use.
I tryed to reset the NVC but its keep on coming back after awile.

Any ides?

We just tryed to disconnect the network cable and ping the adress, and it says that the respond comes from another IP-adress. We are now trying to change the adress on the machine in hope to solve this problem...

There may be another device on the network with the same host name. Disconnect the MP C4500 from the network and with everything else on the network running (if possible) try to ping the copiers IP address and also ping by host name, if you get a response from either there is a conflict that needs resolved.

Yeah we tryed that and it seams that it is a conflict as you said. So we have sett a new ip-adress on the machine, and there is no callback so far..
