Have a new customer that called us for one of these machines. What happens is very strange. When copying the registration os off by 1/2 inch, leading edge. Copying too soon. Does not matter which tray isd used. Does not matter if copying from the copyboard or the doc feeder. Internal copy count pages do the same thing. However when using the machine to scan documents to a pc the pdf files are fine. Plus when printing the print jobs sent from a pc also come out fine. The really bizarre part is the problem is random. Works okay for a time and then starts with the registration problems. Any help would be appreciated.
Ricoh 3325 registration timing.

My apologies, I'm the one in error.
I believe internal prints like the SMC and counter pages take the same image data path as the copy function, while prints from PC are processed via a different path. Since scanning is reported to be fine that eliminates some of the path.
Firmware is always a good place to start with 'strange' problems. Are there any other symptoms or SC's?Comment

The model of the machine is a ricoh 3350. Since it seems the most likely place to start is the firmware we will get that done. Sometime during the next week because of the holidays.
Thanks for the help and Merry Christmas and Happy holidays to everyone.Comment
