    2238 skewed image

A customer has a 2238 with a skewed image. It's about a quarter of an inch off at its worst. And at it's best you can still notice the skewing. Where should i start looking?

The first thing to look at is the Transfer Belt Assy. Make sure the rollers and belt are clean. Look for damage on the belt itself. If the belt is over 250k I would replace the whole assy.

Skew or parallelogram? If the image is square but rotated on the page, check the vertical transport door. If you print a full colour test pattern (Trimming?) is the image bleeding off the page?

I'm not there now to do a colour test pattern but the image was a little cockeyed not shifted. Btw what is the sp code to print out a colour test pattern?
