Toshiba/Ricoh 1105 New machine staple issue

Just set up a Toshiba 1105, having a staple issue. The single staple is about 2 inches down from where is should be at. It doesn't matter if it's angled or straight. I see the adj for moving it front to back on the page. This is just perfectlly in the wrong spot. Brand new out of the box. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the unit isn't rotating. Pull the unit to the front of the finisher, turn the knob to rotate the head. Will it rotate the unit fully or does it stick on screws on the baseplate? Make sure the screws are tightened.
