2238 weird text over color issue

So when there is text over color (say green tint background) The would be black text looks all fuzzy and green as opposed to the normal clear black text. Not sure where to start with fixing this problem

start with a color calibration for copying and printing and and auto registration. both will be found in user tools>maintenance. run some test print outs from SP mode of grid lines, also, and check the registration that way as well.

Likely printing in process black, which never looks truly black and crisp like black toner does. May have more to do with the print setup in the application or driver. Is it a PDF? there are many ways to create a PDF, some good some bad. It may not be the machine at all. Even with black overprint you are likely to get a sort of 'halo' of colour around the text reducing its sharpness.
