    3245C Red lines

I still am battling for a solution to the many red lines which appear in either copy mode or print mode. The lines are like fine straight pencil lines from front to back. If I replace the drum unit they dissapear for a short while then return after a week.any ideas anyone ?

Sounds like it could be a waste toner issue or possibly excess toner deposited on the lip of the developer assy below the mag roll. The waste toner could be backing up in the pcu assy. and leaving a line across the drum. Remove the drum out of the pcu assy of the unit showing the line and see if there is used toner packed up against the drum blade. If so, remove the transfer assy. and all of the pcu's and inspect the housing on the rear frame where the used toner is deposited and look for obstruction/blockage.
