That will allow you to remove the IP address of the Delivery Server from NVRAM.

After doing so, power cycle the MFP, then try to add it to the Device I/O list again using the Scan Router Admin tool.
I would be willing to try this, but I have no idea what SP mode is. Could you elaborate a bit?

    Thanks

"SP Mode" is "Service Program" Mode, or simply, "Service Mode".

There is a secret handshake to access it (a combination of button pushes).

It is really bad medicine for us to post that info here.

It truly requires a trained tech to make these settings, as one false move could reduce your machine to the role of an oversized paperweight. (Yes, it's been done...)

If you have a service contract you should be able to have a tech do this for you easily. If you don't, the charge should be minimal to perform this operation.

If there is an anti-virus installed on the new pc, might as well turn it off for a while.

Im a ricoh tech. I would start by updating XP. Then turn off Delivery server on the copier in user tools then reboot the copier.
after you update xp make sure you turn off the firewall. It will get turned on after you do ALL the updates. Make sure you dont have any other software blocking ports. ex antivirus software. if you do have AV software check and see if you can enter an exception to the IP of the copier and allow all connections from that IP. Now with the delivery server off on the copier goto scanrouter and add the copier by IP address. This should work.

Correct....Scanrouter Won't work unless Windows XP is running SP2 (at minimum). Also, rather than "browsing" for the device, you could try entering the actual IP of the device and adding it that way. If windows firewall is then installed (or running) , then TCP port 3670 needs to be opened
