Ive been having this issue with a sc990 for about a week. It happens when ur runing a job and can happen on page 4 to page 1000. Its very random. Ive reloaded all firmware, controller, nvram, and memory dimms. Nothing has fixed it so far. Just brought home hard drive to reformat but there already wiped. I have ordered new drives but on backorder till who knows when. Any other ideas?

An sp output somewhere has reached it's top limit. Print Sp5990-6 (non default) and see if anything obvious shows up. -

The patch for any of the 4 colors could be the cause, although other codes should come up for each color. Look at your PCU's. see if any are running dirty or light. You can use the test print SD card to do test prints in each color. this also gets around useing the Fiery for test printing. The hard ndrives you have probably arn't already wipedas thier a proprietary format that typical windows doesn't see. Run a hard drive shredder on them or OEM disk utility to wipe them.Mystic Crystal RevelationsComment
