    Ricoh 2238C Scanning to Mac OSX 10.6

    Can anyone tell me how to scan to mac OSX 10.6 from a ricoh 2238C
    It is connected to a network. Any help would be appreciated.

    scan to email works great, no matter what the platform.

    For folder scanning to a mac, you need to set up the address using the IP adddress. \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\folder name. You may also have to turn on SMB scanning on the mac. It will be under system prefrences. I did it by going to system preferences and typing SMB in the searcg box,

      Thanks for the help. I am still having trouble. I set up a shared folder on the mac and tried to point the scanner to it but it won't connect. I can't find smb scanning in the system preferences.

        You might need post script installed in copier to work with Mac.

          I dont think you need PS to scan. Turn on "windows scanning" in preferences. Make sure the folder is shared.
