    IMPORTANT NOTICE:
    If the EFI Fiery controller E-7100/E-8100 is connected to customer's machine, DO NOT update to the versions of firmware listed below until a corresponding new version of system software is installed on E-7100/E-8100. The new version system for E-7100/E-8100 that supports the Ring Binder RB5000 will be announced later in a separate TSB.
    Note: the Pro C550EX (D078) and Pro C700EX (D079) come with the E-8100 installed in the American Market

    Note: STR is a newly-added feature of the D014/D015/D078/D079 copier, which further minimizes energy consumption while the machine is in Energy Saver mode.


    Based on what the codes are for, I'm assuming the error happens when the machine goes into sleep/stand-by and when it is awakened it can't re-establish the connection with the Fiery. Does the customer do a hard shut down at the end of the day? If not this is likely the issue. I'd check your firmware levels on the machine and update them accordingly.

  • Ricoh Pro550ex with Fiery E-8100 SC919 and SC991

    Hi,

    Need help on trying to resolve an issue with a Ricoh Pro550ex and the fiery attached to it.

    Every morning the machine has SC 919 code and a SC 991 code all you have to do is reboot both device and it works for the rest of the day.

    I have replaced the giga cable from machine to fiery. replaced the gig card on the machine.
    updated firmware. reloaded fiery system software. any help would be appreciated. Thank you
