    Mpc3500 immediate fax tx printout

I have the machine set to print out a TX confirmation report for every fax (Fax parameters switch 03 bit 05) but it is not working. What could I be missing?

If TX Status Report is set for one of the quick operation keys, it will override the parameter setting. If it is programmed and the key isn't highlighted, the report will never print out - only on an individual basis per job if the operator selects it. Is memory transmission set also (sw3 bit0)?

if the report is on auto, it will not print a report for immediate transmissions.

Immediate transmission means it doesnt scan into memory first, Press On Hook dial, dial the #, wait for the chirping and press start.= no xmission report.

The only reason I thought of it is because I had the same issue a few months back. Hope that is the answer..

Yea, I got it working. The bit switches were already set correctly. I just disabled the quick key function and everything was fine.
