    MP2851/LD528

I'm getting an SC672 right out of the box..not even 1 copy on it. Won't let me into service mode. I have a machine for swapping but running out of stuff to swap. I swapped the controller, HDD, Ram, NVRAM, Whole op panel..... What's next on the list? I'm running out of ideas.

Check harness to the ID Sensor, it might look like this:

    harness.jpg

If so, the PSU is damaged also, resulting in several errors, so FIRST check harness, then replace PSU

In Addition, check FU6 on PSU

    Hope, that helps

Out side of what you have listed, Goose's Guide twice mentioned reseating the MBU Board on the Fax Unit. But you said this happened right out of the box?

Correct, and I have removed the fax unit from it to no avail.

Hermann.. thanks, I will check that first thing in the AM.. I did check all the fuses on the power supply and they all check good.
