672 is controller start up error. Start with basics. Try booting from firmware card and install "latest & greatest" if possible (see below) . If not working. Disconnect the Hard drive and try to reboot . If not working pull the fax board out and try again. Reseat memory dimm's try again . If still failing. Try booting without the Print/Scan sd card.

If this is older unit the firmware was a known fix . Had sleep issues (STR) when on network.
System 1.08 or newer along with Web Support 1.08 or newer and NCS 7.11 or newer.

SC 672 is usually memory dimm's

There's a few firmware updates for this SC, might be a good place to start.

Hello all, I tried to look the code up, but it's not there. other models point to the controller or op panel. Any suggestions?
