    [CQ] G130 / CL7200 / CLP128 - Lines 90 degrees to travel

    Hey all,

We have a system that we are completely stumped on. Color prints are getting bands of CMY less than 2mm thick 90 degrees to the travel of the page. So far we have replaced the entire transfer unit (including cleaning unit) with a known-good unit, replaced memory, cleaned polygon mirror/slit glass/laser unit, replaced color drum motor/inspected color drum drive gears, and inspected the color development motor and drive (but have not replaced the motor). In all instances black CQ remains fine and the lines in the color remain unaffected. This happens on both customer prints and internal prints, see sample as that is from an internal test page printed on 11x17 paper.

    Any thoughts?

Attachment: Sample is 11x17 travel from left to right, the line/cracked toner down the center is where the sample was folded over by the tech when he brought it back to the shop. This same thing occurs in Cyan and Yellow as well, but not black.
