    ricoh 2105 and HDD

    somebody help me? I have a 2105, it showed on the screen the message "please wait" for a longer time than normal, and then indicates the code sc870 and 925, even after I swap the two hdd, I never had to replace hdd on this model, I tested af2075 on these discs, it work normal, but when I put in 2105, appears the errors that I said;
    what procedures should I do in return for this hd model? what kind of partition or file system should I use? I low-level formatted before? I'm desperate, just got this machine and a job waiting for me to deliver ...

    when i try format with sp5-832, it shows failed...i don't know why...

    The hard drives for this model must be replaced with drives from Ricoh as they have a proprietary RAID configuration installed on them.

          The drives are configured by Ricoh, it cannot be done in the field.

            Try unplugging just one of the original HDDs and see if you can get it to work. If not then reconnect & unplug the other HDD. You should get an Sc36x (?) depending on which HDD is disconnected that will let you select "continue" on the LCD.

            If you're able to get to that point, replace the failed HDD and format. I've done this on the 1085s a few times so it might work on the 2105.
