    ricoh 2228c

this one is giving me a problem with registration. i replaced the fuser drive clutch pack and got rid of the noise with the fuser because the gear on the clutch pack was shot but now i can't get my reg back. i remeber a while back on a 45c i had the same problem with, and managed to do a few sp adjustments that worked out perfectly but i can't remember what they were. does someone have the part number the fuser drive clutch i mentioned too. i've uploaded some pics for your review. thanks much t

If it fails you can try SP5-993-039. If that doesn't work, the machine can't do a proper line positioning adjustment. Check the transfer belt for any damage and clean the aluminium drive rollers. The machine is using these rollers for doing line adjustment. Also make sure the ID-sensors are clean. Clean them with a wet cloth. Don't clean them with a dry cloth because this can cause a static charge on the sensors, which will attract toner to them.
