Hello try this, remove the 2 tension springs from the fusing unit just to isolate the problem. Then try to run the machine without these springs. Make sure that the thermostat on the IH is good.

OK, I have to know. How could fuser tension springs be the cause of a sc 581? By the way, rsyarcia, that is a good call on Belmonts previous thread about the fuser fan. I've had to replace a couple of those because the blades were spinning on the shaft.

Yes It was a tricky problem. And It took me very hard time to Isolate it. First the machine has SC 581,SC 584 sometimes "fusing not set error"then go back to SC 581. When I tried to release some tension by removing the tension spring from the fusing unit and tested,Machine was OK. Belmont Turbo said, he replaced all the parts that is related to SC 581 and even updated the firmwares and still the same problem.Maybe this will work for him.

I can see that now. The springs create tension when the side cover is closed possibly causing a problem with the interface connection. Especially if the big resin clips on the bottom are missing that secure the fuser to it's cradle.
If I recall :
The MPC2500 had a problem with the fan located at the very front of the machine under the inverter cover. This is the cover you first take off to remove the bridge unit screw.
You may like to try replacing this "inverter" fan.

I have found the fan won't turn because it is full of toner chunks. Held the fan and brushed the blades and blew out the toner. Fan worked fine after that.
