Don't think it's the laser. Most laser errors result in SC-codes.

            Hi there!
Iagree with Greeny, take aclose look at the transferbeltunit. It is important to clean the rollers properly, the belt (if not too old) inside with white spirit and change the cleaningblade + BIASroller. In allmost cases the machine is running again without problems.
            Greetings...

Look at the drive unit in the rear of the machine. It is possible that the large white pinion has some expansion and cause the deviation or it may be that in a visit that pinion is turned upside down and align the machine while all colors except magenta. If it solved the problem once you must make a tight fit line.
                Greetings and good luck.

I've seen this problem more than once. Order the NVRAM for the BICU, not the controller.

Seen something like this once. Had followed up on another tech for this issue. One of the drum drive gears was installed flipped front to back and caused an issue that looked much like yours. This occurred after the tech in question had changed dev clutches (of course this wasn't mentioned until I was about ready to hang myself) and messed up reassembly. The issue was not obvious without actually taking the drive apart again.

Ha, I've done this once before (flipped the gear). Drove me nuts for a couple of hours, one of mistakes you make once and never repeat 'cause it sticks in your craw.

Yep. Magenta would be the only color out of adjustment. Color registration in user tools as well as line position adjustments in sp modes would not correct the problem. Tried replacing and adjusting all of the usual stuff before replacing BICU NVRAM. Sounds crazy, I know, but that was the fix.
