We are having problems With Lanier LD 040's and 50's losing toner density. Anyone have an idea of what could be happening or experienced the same issues?

Are you using the modified toner? Cleaning mag roller and replacing developer / mag roller as necessary? Checked for mylars falling off in toner hopper cap? It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Anyone heard of Lion tech group? The salesperson that called me today mentioned that several dealers have let them know that their developer works much better than OEM(although that doesn't seem to be too difficult).Comment

They're on a wind up. The developer isn't the problem, it's the toner. If they offered new toner with this developer, it might be worth a try. If not, leave well alone. It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
