Have you tried feeding different size paper and making sure the paper is set correctly in paper tray settings.Leave a comment:

Re: MP9000 SC672 then jamming at b2 everypage,firmware upgrade?
thanks for the pdf, i read it today and this is why i thought it's firmware error. cause the led bcu blinks repaidly so i search "b234 firmware error" here and the result is i am always thinking about firmware error haha
i am sorry about the code j053 confused u , in fact is when i use tray 1 the code is j053,tray 2 code j054,tray 3 code j055,and so on...every tray jam is late jamLeave a comment:

Re: MP9000 SC672 then jamming at b2 everypage,firmware upgrade?
If you have the smc's are they flagging any other jam codes besides 53, cause thats a feed 1 late issue, which basically is tires, sensor, or bad feed unit. Goose guides does say to make sure your engine firmware is at least 3.14.14 or later for this jam issue, if you already have firmware beyond that i wouldnt worry about a firmware issue. I would try the feed unit, if the one ways go at all they cause nothing but trouble. You could swap it with tray 3's feed unit and see if you get a different result such as a new jam code or no jam in which case i would rebuild the feed unit. For it to throw a feed 1 error without pulling paper even from the lct I am guessing the one ways are bad which will cause it to instantly jam and kick open the b2 gate, you can usually hear a funny sound just before you hear the gate open.
I have had this happen on several 755 models because of developer leaking down on the feed gears.Leave a comment:

we r very confused
every jam code is delay jam that make me crazy...Leave a comment:

Re: MP9000 SC672 then jamming at b2 everypage,firmware upgrade?
the problem is BCU control paper feeding, and it blinks rapidly,we looked at sevice manual and it said firmware error , we cant borrow one BCU so we cant make sure whether it's the prolemLeave a comment:

Re: MP9000 SC672 then jamming at b2 everypage,firmware upgrade?
Have you tried swapping the first feed unit. Even though it jams from every tray, both tray two and three have to go past the first feed unit, maybe the feed unit is worn, I have had some machines where the one ways in the gears are gone and it wont feed paper, and its if its the first feed unit it wont feed any trays through.Of course if you have an LCT unit and it wont feed either then likely thats not the case, but I always go simplest first before replacing boards and stuff.Oh and now that I look at it have read the firmware bullitin on this model, I noticed you mention SC672 was one of your problems. See PDF. Notice the 672 issue with updating firmware. I don't know that this is the cause of your jam issues but you may want to make sure this is corrected then if still having jam issues look into the feed units.

Re: MP9000 SC672 then jamming at b2 everypage,firmware upgrade?
Replace the pick, feed, and sep rollers in tray 1 feed. I have 6 of these machines i visit regularly even the blue million mile tires never last more then 80-150k especially when the customer uses cheap paper. Tires are cheap i pretty much replace tray 1 feed tires every other visit, 3 of my 6 machines run 15k-20k pages a day they go through tires about every week with their cheap paper. I usually also clean the paper dust out, and remove the cover plate over the registration roller and suck the paper dust out of there, there is a sensor there that gets dusty a lot.
perhaps my title was a little mistake, sometimes the machine jam and we can handle it, but this time i never met this kink of jamming, every page from every tray jam at b2 , and the paper didnt go through registration roller even a little. We replaced tires cleaned sensors cleaned registration unit checked registration motor ...five days repaire it...
at last we thought about IO & BCU boards cause the BCU controls paper feed , and we found the red light didnt blink normal . it's firmware error in service manual book .
but i am not sure whether BCU error or firmware error
thanks againLeave a comment:

Re: MP9000 SC672 then jamming at b2 everypage,firmware upgrade?
The paper jam has nothing to do with the SD-Card. Could be worn feed rollers, defective sensors, etc. Don't think firmware has anything to do with it.Leave a comment:

On this machine when you get a jam that causes the b2 gate to flip before paper gets there or just as paper gets there your tires are gone, sometimes you might get a page or two as far as the fuser before it jams, its almost always tires. I also always check the fuser pickers and the flag sensor arm at the fuser, sometimes that arm gets nicked up an can cause paper to catch just enough to throw a late jam. I also always always clean the r1 gate sensor in the finisher that entrance sensor always gets dirty and can cause entrance jams at the finisher.
Just to let you know also I keep a spare rear staple cover for the finisher that rear cover loves to break off on this model you will know when it does cause it will staple about 3 inches to low because the rear cover wont push the swing arm up so it staples just above mid page instead of at the top corner.
Good luck.Leave a comment:

Re: MP9000 SC672 then jamming at b2 everypage,firmware upgrade?
SC672 is an startup controller error. The controller can't connect to the operation panel. The controller could be defective, the harness from the controller to the operation panel could be defective, bad HDD's. Firmware can also be the cause. What jam code are you getting?
BTW, asking for firmware in your first post here is not a good idea...
we have only one mp9000, we checked harness hdd , at last we borrowed SD card and solve SC672 now .
but the new problem is every paper jamming at b2 and the code is J053, we cleaned most things but still jam .
so i think maybe the firmware and the sd card doesnt match or something else
we checked BCU, the red light blinks rapidly , it's firmware error but i dont know exactlyLeave a comment:
