    Ricoh 1105 SC510

I have a Lanier 5705 that is giving a SC510 error code. Book says (paper feed motor lock) so I replaced the motor. But, I still get the error code. Paper bunches up right at upper registration roller. I am going to replace the upper registration roller next. Just wondering what everyone else would do in this case.

Have you checked the relay motor i had this code once and one of my work mates changed the paper feed. Which didn't cure the fault. After having more of a look i noticed the relay motor was not working as it should be. Maybe worth checking out.

Will the motor run in I/O checks? which tray or trays 1,2,3 or 4,5,6?? how many clicks on this unit? over 2 or 3 mil pul the feed statiions for inspection and bad gears, and pull the reg section and check the mylar guides.

I have seen the 510 code twice and in each case replacing the torque limiters in the feed unit fixed it. Hard to say which one was bad but they are cheap so I replace all six(had an Lct).

Try replacing door switches. In particular the one by itself. I have had motor lock codes and this usually solved the problem
