    SC 553 @ Ricoh C3500

It comes and goes after reset. Works for a while, but always comes back. Not consistent. Cleaned thermistor. So far so good, but it's been only a day.
    Power supply? Bad thermistor?

It has been about a year since I serv Ricoh. Unless something has changed, they are prone to throw fusing codes. I always replaced the thermistor(s) to start with. They just don't seem to be reliable. Less cost. I usually had several for every model I serviced in my car. If you have access to bulletins, I would check them. Odds are there is one for this machine. If not, maybe someone on this site does and can help.

Possibly bad fuser. Got another one you can try?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.
