    Ricoh MP C2050 Department codes

    Hi all

    I have aclient who has an MP C2050 that has department codes setup and cannot use the machine. .

    Is there a way to remove them in service mode?

        Yes I mean user code......No copying or printing can be done unless you input a user code...They simply need it taken off....

          Log into the Web monitor: Then go to configuration / user authentication / turn everything "Off"

            user tools-system settings-administrator tools-user authentication managment-user code auth (look and turn off)

                  Nothing a laptop and ethernet cable can't solve. I always suggest making settings via the WIM. Once there, it's just so much faster and easier to navigate through the menus. But "yes" Miro's suggestion will work, so long an administrator code hasn't been set to block access to Administrator tools

                      Perhaps. It depends on which authentications were configured, which is sort of what I said in my previous post. Have you tried my laptop suggestion?
