[Error Code] SC 320 in DSM 415pf

Hello friends,
This is the problem facing with DSM 415pf,
Service Code Error SC320.
Its a polygon motor rotation error, Replaced Complete Unit, still the same.


Connectors, Cables all ok.

Next step is the BICU if connectors are good, and another unit gives same result

I replaced the BICU. The machine was ready now. But when I tried to copy the test page it resulted in paper jammimg in the fusing and then again the error code appeared SC 320.

Hi worksmart,

Did you manage to solve your problem? thought I would chip in with my 2cents can't exactly remember though if this directly affects this model but I do remember this range tends to throw that error if you forget to refit the toner bottle supply unit.

Good call! That's got me a couple of times myself......pop in a new laser unit, covers still off for testing (toner hopper sitting on the table) and it pops the SC (either 320 or 322?) , and I'm there scratching my head for 20 minutes until I realize my stupidity
