I hear you. I spent a week where I couldn't fix much of anything, and was usually my fault. Had to bring in a second set of eyeballs a few times and for things that ended up being SOOoo.. simple. I started calling my troubleshooting buddies saying things like, "Can you come here and make me feel stupid?" or "I finally washed my dirty mind and I can't do a thing with it."

You may want to replace your RAM or DIMM chips first. At least reseat them to see if that is the problem. Also reseat the plugs.

The last firmware I have is 2009.
