Make sure the drum unit is pushed in all the way.
Failing that check the charge roller and the metal contacts and bushings.

When you say you emptied the unit......

Did you empty out the PCU? I.E the toner in the recycling unit behind the cleaning blade?

Or did you empty out the development unit?

Because if you emptied out the development unit I wouldn't be too surprised if you're getting blank copies.

Yeah Developer and Toner are very different things, you can feel the texture of Developer and the texture of Toner in your fingers, Developer has a slightly gritty feel to it. If you've hoovered all the Dev out, you'll have to put some more in there. The Part number for Developer, if you need it, is

          Developer Type 26 Black: B079 9640

If you have the Service Manual "And if you're actually a Service Engineer, you'll have this", it'll give you clear instructions on all the steps to do this.

If you're not sure, the Developer carries Toner onto the Drum through the Mag Roller, which is why the Developer is so important, filling the Developer Unit with Toner won't produce any results "Or you might find dirty copies again" Which answers your question, you can't put Toner directly onto the Drum.

Just out of Curiosity, have you checked the Toner Sheild Glass? If Toner's got all over this it won't allow the Laser to discharge the Drum, which would give you blank copies, just worth a check if anything.

          Hope this helps!

This Proceedure, like all other replacement proceedures for these machines is outlined in the Service Manual under "Replacement and Adjustment"

Now, a Service Engineer will have the Service Manual. If you don't have it, then I suggest you get someone in there to replace the developer.

              Hope this helps.

SGT_Snacks,thanks for your suggestion but service engineer in
my area doesn't exists...just bought a new developer unit and
                of course it's empty.

btw,the machine is working perfectly if i use another developer unit
                from other running machine.

i hope someone could help me to sort this out.

                Thanks again.

You have to put developer material in that developer unit.

Period, That's all that will solve your problem.

But you better get a manual from somenone to get the code to run after or you will still have problems.
