    MPC develeper unit parts

    Hi everyone. While I was servicing an MPC 4500 I noticed the gears on the develeper units are showing some serious wear. I know there are no parts showing in the parts manuel. Just wondering if there happens to be a bulliten showing replacement parts for these or will I have to replace the whole unit?

      These developer units have a finite life and are replaced at every other dev change. There are no parts available for them aside from developer material.

          If the drive gears on the dev units are looking worn it's a good possibility the white gears on the drive unit are showing equal wear.
          It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Hit it.

              I didnt think of checking that, thank you. I have not replaced any dev. units on the machines I service yet, looks like I better order some. thanks again
