If your controller dosnt have the dimm socket B then you will Never be able to get that machine to print without getting the controller option with the dimm socket.
    Hi Bantams,

When I unplug the Fax card and insert the SD card(Printer Scanner Unit), the Printer works but on the LCD appear only functions of copier else nothting.
Whenn i insert the Fax card, it appears the following error:
    SC:819
    564d 2069 7320 6675 6c6c
    0000 0000 0000 0000 0000
And when I plug the Fax card (without PSU) then appear the functions of copier and fax.

I send you a picture of both card: fax and Network, maybe yu can see something to help me.
Could you send me your docs. It is very small.

    Hi femaster,

    can I take any PCB SDRAM-DIMM 128mb or 256mb ... ?

    Thanks

Not to worry. He'll find a good price - He apparently has NOTHING but time! He's been trying to get this box working since May, is still asking if any old ram will do, and refuses to invest $12 for a manual, or even google it, and find it for free in 10 seconds like I just did

      I'm tapping out again!

But the links for the free manuals don't include the P2P diagrams or the Parts manuals like mine do.

Perhaps a real Ricoh technician is in order... or he could consult aab1........

Hi Bantams, it makes a difference if the the printer has a fax option?I am sorry, I couldn't understand your remark? Hi femaster, if you said since may, then each person will believe I work on it each day. I am sorry if i disappoint you. But really, we have lot of to else this problem to resolve. As i called the support, he told me that I just need a Printer Scanner unit and It wasn't available. To get it takes a long time. And about manual, I am very surprised, because I thought I can get it from Ricoh, but no way. If you have it or you have an address for me, lease don't hesitate to send it me. And now you know my controller has a ram socket, but i am messing a ram and USB card. If you have an address where i can get them please let me know. Thanks

The image you pointed to that had the label "Socket" on it is the correct place for the RAM. If you can locate a stick of RAM that fits properly in that socket, you should be good to go.

I can't say for sure if a 256MB stick would work, as I've never tried it. I can tell you that if it fits, it will work. You don't need a 'magic' stick from Ricoh, RAM is RAM, as long as it's the same type and size.

I'm just curious, who do you use as a storage place for all your manuals?

I have done a little searching, and can say that most, if not all, your manuals are available free for the picking. Not sure if it's your hosting company, or one of your really good customers, but they are out there...

See, I'm not such a bad guy after all. I won't disclose the location, so you don't need to worry. You may want to look into that though...

                      Hi femaster,

                      thanks for your help.

My Printer works now. After I change some data I tried to change the password for Web under Administrator Mode. Since this action i couldn't access to this Mode. I don't know why? I get always this message (see picture 1). I tried to clear the data using SP Mode (5-801-11) but I couldn't. Every time when I use the command in the description (see Picture 2). I couldn't get this Mode. I am wondering, what is my mistake?

                      Do you have any idea?

                      Thanks

                            Hi

                            I tried both methods:
                            1. "#" many seconds
                            2. "Clear Modes" + "1" + "0" + "7"

                            but without success.

                            Any suggestion?

I am very sorry, I can see now the SP Mode but only from 1 to 4 (see picture) . I wonder, how I can clear the NCS register to reset the "Admiistartor Mode" Password? Do you have any suggestion? Please help.
