If the machine is indicating that there is an address book error on the op panel then you will not be able to get into the WIM. On very rare occasions the SP 5-846-50 will recover it, but not too likely. Nor will the other SP methods aluded to by Sandmanmac. If this is the case the address book is permanently corrupted.
Your only option will be one of two things:
1. Replace the controller board
2. If your region has good Ricoh support the local RTSM or equivalent may have been issued a special SD card from Japan that can recover the controller. Good luck with that, AFAIK our own support folks were issued one card for the country and we were told to just continue replacing the controller boards.
