    Nasahuatec MP W2400, slow printing

I just installed a Nashuatec MP W2400 and I encountered a problem during printing documents from AutoCad 2007. It takes 5 minutes to print a single file(4 MB). When printing other files(e.g. MS Word, PDF)it is ok. I installed the HDI driver for AutoCad 2007 and follow every procedure from the service manual but no improvements. Anyone experienced this problem?thnx in advance.

since the HDI driver for autocad 2007 is the same as 2004 2005 2006 that is version 1.13 date 12.06.2007 why don´t you try version 1.14 date 19.12.2007 for autocad 2008, I would try that. got nothing to loose. Try going to printer on copier panel \printer features\ see if your printing resolution is to high, change to 300 dpi and see what happens, 300 dpi is fair enough for autocad printing

Autocad, in all its variations, is highly problematic. Unfortunately, it is also the standard cad program. The best results we achieved were with Post Script enabled machines. On older Oce printers, we sometimes used HP 600 drivers. Good luck,

I agree with DocF. I've been battling with Autocad to various Copystar printers. It prints eleven ledger size pages before taking a 3 minute coffee break, then eleven more pages, ecetera....

I've added the 40GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, opened up the host buffer to 64MB, and still no joy.

If I discover anything I'll share it.....

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Maybe not the ultimate solution but by doing this it makes the printing faster. Since the default setting of SP5-5828-65(Network setting - job spool setting) is 0:no spooling, we set it to 1 which enable spooling. Unfortunately the customer was not satisfied with the speed 27 MB = 2mins. and 30 secs. FYI, TNX a lot...
